A storm spotters class will be held at the Lawrence County Emergency Management Agency building at 6:00 pm on Thursday, January 24, 2019. National Weather Service experts teach techniques for recognizing the types of severe weather encountered in the Tennessee Valley. The presentation is filled with photos and videos so you can see the critical features of storms and make decisions to protect your family and community. The Lawrence County EMA building is located one block south of the square in Moulton, Al at 555 Walnut Street. Parking is available on surrounding streets and in the Moulton Church of Christ parking lot across the street. The Bankhead Amateur Radio Club encourages you attend this important class. The BARC is a leading organization in the North Alabama- Southern Tennessee Skywarn team, working with local clubs and the National Weather Service in Huntsville to provide rapid reporting and warnings when severe weather strikes.
