Out of concern for participant and visitor safety, the Officers of the Bankhead Amateur Radio Club have cancelled 2017 field day activities based on advice from weather service contacts. As a result of the remnants of Tropical Storm Cindy, the potential for severe thunderstorms, flooding, and lightening increase the risks for the event.
